Consider this. What would have taken 1,000,000 square feet of filing cabinets 20 years ago can know be stored on a 5 and 1/4 inch hard drive. 1,000,000 squared feet of filing cabinets = 2TB of information which can be viewed digitally on a computer through something that can fit in the palm of your hand.

LinkedIn is much better than FB for lead generation. Why? Essentially its more focused. Think of it as a club. Its place where people go to learn, share and pitch.
The pitch has to be subtle. I try to share as much as possible, develop connections, and go from there.
I find that on Facebook everyone is chattering but not much happens. Not bashing Facebook but the audience, goals, and relationships are different.
Also, the threads on LinkedIn are, for me, very educational.

I can think of only three reasons why you’d want to post regularly: 1) you make money through advertising, 2) you are seeking superficial popularity, or 3) you are easily bored and have a lot of free time. In the long run, quality (rather than just regular posting) probably will be most satisfying for both the person posting something and the person viewing it. And satisfaction will in the long run increase your profits and/or your popularity. But if you enjoy posting regularly, then do so.

Combining the best of both, if you can or so desire, is a great way to both keep return visits high AND get the results you need in the engines. In order to score for around 6000 keywords that send one of my sites traffic each month, I had to build up a rather large spectrum of topics over time.

Makes the process easier when you’re doing posts in between your A List content or you won’t be able to take advantage of the long tail as quickly.

As an American, regardless of your professional backround, I would think you would find the mass demonstrations now occurring in the U.S itself as more interesting. Today and in the past several days hundreds of thousands have protested in Wisconsin against government policies and the attack on their working rights.

@SeeYouInMe Despite the signifigant events in the U.S, you choose to focus on what is happening in the Middle East, or more particularly, Libya… The only country with a non-U.S backed regime where mass protests have ocurred. I was just wondering if your conviction for telling the truth in regards to what has happened in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Jordan, Bahrain and other countries with U.S/Western support is as great?

@SeeYouInMe Maybe it is because in the past couple days the U.S media has focused like a laser on events in the Middle East (particularly Libya) while ignoring the demonstrations in Wisconsin, and around America. If you are unaware of what has happened with protests in the U.S, I think you and every American would be wise to inform themselves about it.

And, sorry if I happened to be a little harsh with my response.. but I find hypocrisy very upsetting, even more so than ignorance.

@wnxsilence Personally, I think that the massacre of the Libyan people is a little more pressing an issue than the Wisconsin budget.
I am not saying that it is not an issue. I am an American citizen. But this seems a bit more important, with so many lives being lost. And I was concerned about Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Jordan, Bahrain as well…

@wnxsilence We cannot help where US ammunition goes. If we could, don’t you think that would matter?
And if you knew anything about at least me, and I’m sure @SeeYouInMe , maybe you would know that we had solidarity for those in Tunis, Cairo, and Sana’a as well.
Stop stereotyping Americans and know that some of us, in fact many of us, care just as much as any other nation
